ICE Hockey League Tickets 2026-27: Dates, Teams and Arenas
ICE Hockey League tickets 2026-27 give you access to a cross-border competition: 14 clubs from Austria, Hungary, Slovenia and Italy, 52 games each and a season opening on 18 September 2026. Here are the confirmed dates, the arenas and practical buying tips.
ICE Hockey League Tickets 2026-27: Season Overview
The ICE Hockey League is one of the most interesting competitions in European hockey because it crosses borders. Austrian clubs form the core, joined by teams from Hungary, Slovenia and Italy, so a single season can take you from alpine towns to Budapest, Ljubljana and Bolzano. For visitors, that is a bonus: a hockey weekend can double as a trip through several cultures.
The 2026-27 season has 14 clubs: EC iDM Wärmepumpen VSV from Villach, EC-KAC from Klagenfurt, EC Red Bull Salzburg, FTC-Telekom from Budapest, HC Falkensteiner Pustertal from Bruneck, HC TIWAG Innsbruck, HCB Südtirol Alperia from Bolzano, Hydro Fehérvár AV19, Milano Hockey Club, Moser Medical Graz99ers, Olimpija Ljubljana, Pioneers Vorarlberg, Steinbach Black Wings Linz and Vienna Capitals. The reigning champions are Graz99ers.

How to Buy ICE Hockey League Tickets 2026-27
Clubs sell tickets through their own official channels, often via web shops in German, Italian, Hungarian or Slovenian, with English options in some cases. Season-ticket holders get first access, then single games open. Derbies, games against Salzburg and Vienna and playoff matches draw the biggest demand.
Buying ICE Hockey League tickets from abroad
- Check the home fixture list and choose a date.
- Use the official club box office or its named partner.
- Look for mobile tickets or print-at-home options.
- Bring an ID in case the venue asks for it.
Resale and sold-out games
In small arenas, sold-out signs are common for big games. Resale marketplaces are an option, but check the rules because some clubs restrict transfers. Our email alert gives you notice of official releases.
ICE Hockey League Game Day Guide: Travel, Atmosphere and Tickets

ICE Hockey League atmosphere
Expect friendly but loud crowds, drums and flags, often on standing terraces. Local food and drink are sold inside, and many fans arrive early to meet in the area.
Combining ICE Hockey League tickets with a city break
Vienna is the most obvious base. Graz and Salzburg are charming, Innsbruck and Bolzano combine hockey with mountains, and Budapest and Ljubljana give you capital-city weekends. Check fixtures first, since some clubs play on weekdays.
