Getting to Ball Arena for Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars
Ball Arena sits at the edge of downtown Denver, close to LoDo and Union Station. Many visitors stay near Union Station and walk, or use light rail and buses into downtown; rideshare drop-offs are easy. Parking nearby is pricey on busy nights. Before the game, LoDo's restaurants, craft-beer bars and sports pubs are a short stroll away. Leave extra time before the game for security lines and the team store.
Colorado Avalanche vs Dallas Stars: what to expect
Dallas is a Central Division opponent and a former playoff foe, so the Stars always bring a high-quality, high-stakes game to Ball Arena.
Both clubs play in the Central Division: divisional games are the kind that weighs heaviest in the race for a playoff spot.
Hockey in Texas works better than you might expect. The Stars won the Stanley Cup in 1999, play in a modern downtown arena and this season add an outdoor Stadium Series game at AT&T Stadium. Here is how to plan a 2026-27 visit, from seats to rivals and booking from abroad.
