Colorado Avalanche vs Tampa Bay Lightning: getting to the arena
Ball Arena sits at the edge of downtown Denver, close to LoDo and Union Station. Many visitors stay near Union Station and walk, or use light rail and buses into downtown; rideshare drop-offs are easy. Parking nearby is pricey on busy nights. Before the game, LoDo's restaurants, craft-beer bars and sports pubs are a short stroll away. Leave extra time before the game for security lines and the team store.
Why Colorado Avalanche vs Tampa Bay Lightning is worth it
An inter-conference visit: the Tampa Bay Lightning only come to Denver 1 time this season, which makes it a rarer date on the Avalanche' calendar.
Three Stanley Cups, a waterfront downtown and a rink where you can leave the game and walk to a patio in a T-shirt: the Lightning offer the NHL's most relaxed road trip. Tampa hosts 42 home games from October 3, 2026 to April 10, 2027. Here is how to choose your date, your seat and your booking strategy.
